i was born and raised in europe, have lived and worked for many years in asia and the continental united states before I moved to hawaii. i have acquired my artistic sense from my mother, traute moelders, who has been an exceptional artist throughout her life. here in hawaii, i have had the priviledge to learn from excellent and wonderful teachers at winward community college, women and men who have inspired and pushed me to go forward with the arts. i would like to thank toni martin, snowdon hodges, norman graffam, paul nash and marty nikou for their inspiration and knowledge.
